Jacqueline Duca LPC, LCADC

Jacqueline Duca is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who specializes in the emerging field of neuroplastic psychology—evidence-based approaches that work with the brain and nervous system to rewire neural circuits contributing to pain, stress, and emotional distress. With over 20 years of experience in the counseling field and licensed since 2007, Jacqueline helps individuals address chronic pain and other persistent symptoms through integrative, neuroscience-informed care.

Her work draws on the brain’s innate capacity for change and blends psychological interventions with scientific neuroplastic modalities to restore a sense of safety, regulation, and vitality to the mindbody system. Grounded in both science and compassion, her approach helps others move from patterns of pain and protection toward greater regulation, resilience, and reconnection.

Jacqueline’s own journey with nearly two decades of chronic pain and neuroplastic symptoms has profoundly shaped her understanding of the healing process. Through both lived experience and continued training, she brings a unique blend of professional depth and personal empathy to her work with others navigating similar paths.

She holds certifications in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (Alan Gordon, LCSW, Pain Psychology Center), Applied Positive Psychology (The Flourishing Center), Health Coaching (Institute for Integrative Nutrition), and Yoga (The American Yoga Academy). She has also completed specialized training in Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy for Chronic Pain (with Drs. Howard Schubiner and Mark Lumley) and a certificate program in Health Training from Columbia University. She is dedicated to helping others rediscover a sense of ease, vitality, and wholeness in both mind and body.
